Frank Zappa
Frank Zappa's first band was the Soul Giants which, after evolving into the Mothers of Invention, came to prominence as one of the most radical of all bands. Sarcastic and always possessing incredibly tight arrangements and only the best musicians, Zappa led a number of troupes over a long and prolific career.
