Konocti Harbor Resort is located on shores of beautiful Clear Lake in the Northern California Lake Country. It is about 2.5 hours north of the San Francisco Bay Area. Positioned in a corner of a cove on the south side of the lake, the 120 acre resort offers something for everybody. Located at the foot of Mt. Konocti, the Konocti Harbor Resort offers over 200 rooms, suites, and cottages for your vacation relaxation. The Resort offers a full range of activities, many of which are listed below. With a full service marina, Konocti Harbor has 100 boat slips and full fleet of rental watercraft, ranging from skiboats to kayaks and pedal boats. The Resort is the home of the Dancing Springs Spa, and has many fine sporting facilities.
The concerts are held in the Konocti Field Amphitheater, a newly remodeled concert arena that consistently draws some of the finest acts in America. The venue features a state of the art lighting and video system, and seats 5000. No seat is more than 200 feet from the stage, affording great lines of sight for everyone. The beauty of the area shines at the amphitheater, where you can watch the last light of the sun play off the lake while listening to your favorite music. The venue is a special treat for Yes fans, as you are truly in a Dean-esque landscape, "in and around the lake, mountains come out of the sky and stand there". At Konocti Harbor, this vista was noted by many, including the band!
The entertainment doesn't stop there, as Konocti Harbor Resert also hosts the Joe Mazzola Classic Concert Showroom. This 1000 seat dinner theater provides an intimate experience, whether enjoying just a concert without eating or attending one of the Winemaker Summer Series Dinners, such as is being held the night before the Yes concert when Styx will be appearing.

Ride and Room Sharing Messsage Board
Rooms in the Clear Lake area are filling up and will probably be sold out for the night of the concert, due to tourist season and the Styx and Linda Rondstadt concerts on either side of the Yes concert date. Do not expect to be able to arrive in Kelseyville and find a room on the day of the concert.
For people coming in by plane, for your convenience, we suggest that you fly in to Sacramento on Thursday evening and stay at an airport near I-5 on Thursday night. Then rent a car and leave by 8:30 - 9:00 AM for the journey to Konocti. The drive is about 2-2.5 hours long, depending on traffic and destination. This way, you can come in to Kelseyville early enough to find your hotel (assuming that you've pre-arranged a room in the area) and then be able to get to the Yescapade by around 12:00. Then you can stay the one night, then head to Mountain View on Saturday morning for the Yes concert at Shoreline, if that is your plan.

We know that travel up to Konocti was a bit of a challenge, so we are going to give recommendations on the best route to get there. If you are familiar with their area, and are confident in taking other routes, feel free, this is mostly for out of town guests.
Konocti Harbor Resort is located directly on the banks of Clear Lake in Kelseyville, CA. This is north of the Napa Valley, in the mountains. While one can reach Konocti from the Napa Valley, the traffic and narrow roads make it a rough and long ride. Only really recommended for the strong of heart.
The easiest and recommended route for air
travellers or anyone from the East Bay is
as follows:
From Sacramento:
a - Fly in to Sacramento airport
b - Go north on Interstate 5 for approximately
50 miles until you reach State Highway 20
at Williams, CA.
c - Go west on State Highway 20 (left) for
about 35 miles until you reach State Highway
53.
d - Go south (left) on Highway 53 to Lower
Lake for about 8 miles until you reach State
Highway 29
e - Go west (right at the traffic light)
on Highway 29 about 8 miles until you reach
Soda Bay Road.
f - Turn right onto Soda Bay Road and follow
it for about 6 miles
g - Konocti Harbor Resort is on the right
side of the road, and has a large marked
entrance with a fountain/pond and a gate.
Follow the signs to the left to reach the
hotel main lobby and restaraunts. To get
to the Yescapade and the concert, turn right
at the first intersection once you are inside
the Resort.
From San Francisco (the more difficult route)
a - Take US Highway 101north over the Golden
Gate, proceeding for about 50 miles to Santa
Rosa
b - Look for the last exit, named "River
Road"
c - Turn right. The road changes into "Mark
West Springs Road". Follow this road
until you reach a red light at the T in the
road. Turn left, follow to the stop sign,
turn left.
d - Proceed 1 mile, turn right on Tubbs Lane.
Follow to stop sign, then turn left.
d - You should now be on Hwy 29, (St. Helena
Mtn.). Stay on Hwy. 29 until you reach the
town of Lower Lake, about 30 miles south.
Stay on Highway 29, by turning left at the
traffic light. This is still Hwy 29. Proceed
8 miles and turn right on Soda Bay Road and
follow it for about 6 miles.
e - Konocti Harbor Resort is on the right
side of the road, and has a large marked
entrance with a fountain/pond and a gate.
Follow the signs to the left to reach the
hotel main lobby and restaraunts. To get
to the Yescapade and the concert, turn right
at the first intersection once you are inside
the Resort.
Note that Highway 29, between Calistoga and
Middletown, especially, is a very twisty
mountain road. Be prepared. It is a pretty
drive, but can be difficult and slow. You
can also catch Highway 29 in Napa and head
north from there.
From the north:
a - Take Highway 101 to Calpella, approximately
6 miles north of Ukiah.
b - Take Highway 20 east to Upper Lake until
you reach Highway 29
c - Take Highway 29 South through Lakeport
and Kelseyville uhtil you get to Soda Bay
Road - about 20 miles
d - Turn right on Soda Lake Bay Road, and
go up about six miles
